About Access Controls

Mission: To protect the University of Memphis community with secure access solutions that foster a safe campus environment and support student success.

The University of Memphis electronic access controls system plays a vital role in supporting the safety and security of our campuses. Through the use of electronic credentials and centralized access scheduling, we ensure buildings and rooms are accessible only by authorized individuals, while remaining responsive to the dynamic needs of the university community.

We provide timely, high-quality service and support. We are responsible for managing electronic access, as well as the installation and maintenance of electronic door mechanisms.

Overview

The Office of Housing and Residential Life is responsible for providing dormitory access to Resident Students. For more information, please visit Housing and Residence Life.
