
Humanities
The Humanities Division includes programs that explore the history of human culture, thought, and expression. Students studying the humanities have opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their society, and the world around them. Critical skills emphasized by the programs in this division include:
- Development of critical thinking skills, including analyzing, evaluating and synthesizing information
- Enhancing students' oral and written communication abilities
- Deeper understanding and appreciation for a wide range of cultures and perspectives
