Aidan Fitzhugh

Aidan Fitzhugh is a sophomore at the University of Memphis pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering through the Herff College of Engineering. He is actively engaged in campus life, participating in the Industrial Training and Assessment Center, Weil Scholars, Marching and Pep Bands, the Engineering Living and Learning Community and Campus Outreach.
Aidan is passionate about empowering others and believes in the strength of teamwork to solve complex challenges. His future goals include working in product manufacturing and advancing energy efficiency solutions for businesses across the country.

Lia Faith Kearney

Lia Faith Kearney is a junior at the University of Memphis majoring in Strategic Media with a concentration in Advertising. A Memphis native, Lia is passionate about creativity, community, and connection. Outside of academics, she enjoys volunteering, producing music, and attending local events.
She is an active member of CUBS and ALLSHE, and co-founder of Connecting City Collectives, a brand designed to unite creatives across Memphis. Whether you're an artist seeking a producer or a model looking for a photographer, her initiative helps bridge those gaps. After graduation, Lia plans to attend law school to pursue a career in entertainment and sports law.

Gloria Owuredua Obeng

Gloria Owuredua Obeng is a junior honors student at the University of Memphis majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science and a minor in Entrepreneurship. A scholarship recipient from the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat, Gloria is dedicated to learning, innovation, and creating positive change.
She serves as a Student Ambassador for the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship, where she enjoys transforming ideas into impactful solutions. Gloria is also involved in several campus organizations, including Black Scholars Unlimited, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Global Friends, where she supports international student engagement. For Gloria, entrepreneurship is more than business, it’s a tool for solving problems and shaping a better future.

Caleb Ogwuru

Caleb Ogwuru is a junior Biology major at the University of Memphis. Originally from Nigeria, Caleb is driven by a deep curiosity about the science of life and a desire to make a meaningful impact through knowledge and service.
He is actively involved on campus as a member of Global Friends, where he helps foster connections among international students, and TRIO, where he continues to grow through academic support and community engagement. For Caleb, studying biology is not just an academic pursuit, it’s a journey of discovery, purpose and change.

Carl Frederick Hill

Carl Frederick Hill is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Communication and Film at the University of Memphis. He holds a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. In addition to his academic pursuits, Carl published his first book in June 2023 and is the founder and sole proprietor of Liberated Pages Publishing, Inc.

Samaneh Mohebalizadeh
Area of Study: Finance, Insurance and Real Estate, PhD

Samaneh Mohebalizadeh is a PhD student in Finance, Insurance and Real Estate at the University of Memphis. She brings extensive experience in entrepreneurial finance, with a focus on banking and venture capital. Her work centers on strategic management, corporate development, and financial planning for startups. Samaneh is committed to promoting financial literacy and helping entrepreneurs overcome business challenges.

Daryl Rojas
Area of Study: MBA Candidate, Fogelman College of Business and Economics
Anticipated Graduation Date: May 2026
Daryl Rojas is an MBA candidate at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, with a background in the arts and a global perspective on entrepreneurship. He is the founder of Roma Musik, the first Latin American dealership for premier German music publishers, combining creative problem-solving with strategic business insight.
Daryl’s international education across Colombia, Italy, Germany, and the United States has shaped his leadership style and approach to venture creation. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) from the University of Memphis and has built a career in teaching, performing, mentoring, administration, and collaboration in academic and professional settings.
At the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship, Daryl focuses on startup consulting, business development, and mentoring. As a bilingual presenter and consultant, he is dedicated to fostering impactful collaborations and supporting the University of Memphis community.
