Cyber Tigers Win Tech901 CTF

The Cyber Tigers student cybersecurity club took the top two spots at the Tech901 2025 Capture the Flag competition in Memphis on Oct. 25.

Led by faculty advisor Tony Pinson, the Cyber Tigers showcased their real-world cybersecurity skills in challenges testing cryptography, reverse engineering, and web application security. Club president Nicholas Redmond and member Truc Nguyen captained the first- and second-place Tech901 teams, joined by teammates Adrien Jones, Luke Freeman, Calvin Payton, and alumni Jacob Peirce and John Dorion.

The Cyber Tigers also participated in the Raymond James CTF held in Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL, on Oct. 18.
