About Tigers Write & Speak

The Tigers Write and Tigers Speak programs reinforce and expand on important concepts for first-year students and others who want to improve their academic writing and speaking through in-person events and online modules. Topics cover all stages of the academic writing and oral communication processes, such as brainstorming and planning, finding research, drafting, researching sources, citing and incorporating sources, and editing and revising. They are developed by writing, communication, and research experts from Writing and Communication Services at CASA  and the University Libraries.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility or the event, contact Carl Hess at carl.hess@memphis.edu or 901.678.8206.
