About Niharika Jha
Niharika is a first-year PhD student enrolled in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Public Health, University of Memphis. She successfully completed her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Global Health at the University of Washington in June 2023. Niharika has a background as a research assistant, contributing to both quantitative and qualitative studies focused on noncommunicable diseases at Dhulikhel Hospital-Kathmandu University Hospital in Nepal. She also actively participated in a project related to cardiovascular disease (CVD), wherein she assessed national requirements for CVD-related capacity development. During her tenure at Dhulikhel Hospital, Niharika co-authored numerous manuscripts related to CVD. Her primary research interests encompass Public Health Research, Non-communicable Diseases, and Implementation Science.
