SPH Partners with Non-profit Organization Knowledge Quest

May 13, 2025 - The School of Public Health (SPH) Dean, Dr. Ashish Joshi, and Community Relations Representative, Steve Shular, recently met with Rev. Marlon Foster, Founder and CEO of Knowledge Quest, to explore new experiential learning opportunities for SPH students at their three campuses in South Memphis. Since its founding in 1998, Knowledge Quest has been dedicated to strengthening the community by stabilizing homes, improving access to healthcare, and creating pathways to greater opportunities for families in Memphis. The organization provides targeted support through various programs, including the Extended Learning Academies, Green Leaf Learning Farm, Family Stability Centers, and Early Childhood Academy.

Through strategic partnerships with local organizations like Knowledge Quest, SPH is cultivating a network of public health alliances aimed at transforming Memphis' understanding of how public health influences our communities.
