Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County signs Resolution between Metropolitan Board of Health and the UoM School of Public Health

August 5, 2025 - A resolution approving an agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County—acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health—and the University of Memphis School of Public Health to offer public health experience opportunities to its students, has been signed.

The University of Memphis School of Public Health provides higher education and training for students in various health professions through its Master of Public Health program and seeks experience opportunities for its students.

The Metropolitan Public Health Department has a wide range of clinical, non-clinical, and public health experiences available to appropriate students; and it is to the mutual benefit of the University of Memphis School of Public Health and the Metropolitan Government, through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide public health experience opportunities for its students and residents.
