Alliance Healthcare Services Foundation Executive Director Visits the School of Public Health

August 12, 2025 - The Executive Director Mark Billingsley of The Alliance Foundation visited with University of Memphis School of Public Health Dean Dr. Ashish Joshi and School of Public Health (SPH) Community Outreach Representative Steve Shular.

Alliance Healthcare Services is a 24-7 behavioral health facility that provides mental health and substance abuse support at facilities throughout the Memphis area.

During the discussion, Dean Joshi talked about the success of the SPH sponsored high school public health clubs established locally and in other countries, as well as the SPH Healthcare Diplomacy Center and Laboratory at the university.
 
Discussions continue about a more formal partnership between the SPH and Alliance Healthcare Services for research and projects that involve SPH staff and students.
