UofM SPH Organizes Community Health Fair with Memphis Health Center

September 25, 2025 - The University of Memphis (UofM) School of Public Health (SPH) organized a community health fair with Memphis Health Center, in South Memphis.    

The event was in conjunction with the monthly South Memphis 38106 Joint-Agency Partnership meeting at Pine Hill Community Center. During the health fair, clinical staff from Memphis Health Center conducted various medical screenings. UofM SPH Community Outreach Representative, Steve Shular, was also in attendance and handed out SPH keepsakes.

Mr. Shular spoke to the group about the SPH curriculum and the success of the SPH-sponsored high school public health clubs, both locally and internationally.
