University of Memphis School of Public Health Student Delegation Attends the APHA 2025 Annual Meeting

November 2-5, 2025 - A record 34 presentations by students and faculty of the School of Public Health were delivered at the American Public Health Association (APHA) 2025 Annual Meeting and Expo in Washington, D.C. Of those, twenty-nine were by students: 9 oral presentations, 17 poster sessions, 2 lightning-round presentations and 1 roundtable discussion.

Dr. Ashish Joshi, UofM SPH Dean and Distinguished University Professor, spoke at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) session Designing the Future: Novel Approaches for Integrating Innovation in Undergraduate Public Health Education. He highlighted that the School of Public Health offers a multi-month program designed to empower high school and college students to lead digital health and well-being initiatives for youth, encouraging early involvement in public health innovation.
