UofM SPH Faculty and Staff Attend the 3rd Annual Delta Boulé STEM Summit
November 7, 2025 - The University of Memphis School of Public Health (UofM SPH) faculty and staff attended the 3rd Annual Delta Boulé STEM Summit titled “From Classroom to Career: Making STEM a Reality”, which gathered high school students, educators, administrators, employers and community leaders together to highlight and advance STEM in the Greater Memphis area.
This collaboration, led by the University of Memphis Herff College of Engineering and the Greater Memphis Chamber is designed to spark innovation and cultivate impactful partnerships.
Participating high schools included Bolton HS, East HS, Medical District College HS, Westwood HS, Whitehaven HS and KIPP HS.
Vendors present at the Summit included Herff College of Engineering, Delta Boulé, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Hospital, Regional One Health, Baptist Health Sciences University, CodeCrew, Allworld Project Management, University of Memphis NSBE Collegiate Chapter, Memphis International Airport, Xcelente Trucking & Logistics Training, A2H – Engineers – Architects – Planners and Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation.
SPH faculty and staff discussed the importance of STEM education and the potential public health career pathways a degree in the field offers.
