UofM Family of the Year
Each year, during Parent & Family Weekend, Parent & Family Services celebrates a parent or family member that has been an inspiration to their student. These parents/family members not only go above and beyond for their student, but they also support the University of Memphis community through volunteering, serving on committees, and being an ambassador for the university. Parent & Family Services invites students to nominate parents, family members or guardians whose lives have been an inspiration to their students and others as the UofM Family of the Year.
The family selected as the winner will be recognized and celebrated during Parent and Family Weekend/ Homecoming (October 24-26, 2025). The 2025 UofM Family of the Year nomination window is now closed.
