About VMSS

The Veteran & Military Student Support (VMSS) Office at the University of Memphis serves as the central hub for military-affiliated students, including veterans, service members, and their families. VMSS provides a comprehensive range of services designed to meet both academic and personal needs — from education benefit certification and compliance to student success initiatives, outreach, and community engagement.

Our mission is to create a seamless, one-stop resource that empowers military-affiliated students to thrive in the classroom, on campus, and beyond. By integrating support services with benefit guidance, professional development, and opportunities for connection, VMSS ensures students have the tools they need to achieve their goals.
