Free online tutoring is available through the Upswing platform via the U of M's Educational Support Program.

Chinese Tutoring

Students may access virtual tutoring via Upswing.

Tuesday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Students are also welcome to use the "send a message" function on Upswing to schedule tutoring appointments at least one day in advance. They may also request Chinese tutoring outside the listed days by emailing jxu9@memphis.edu

French Tutoring

Students may access virtual tutoring via Upswing.

German Tutoring

All German tutoring is available via Upswing.

Students can view tutor availability and schedule appointments directly through Upswing. Please note that schedules may vary, as tutors have different availability throughout the week. For a seamless experience, we recommend checking Upswing for the most up-to-date tutor schedules and options.

Students may also request German tutoring during the weekend by emailing hpolster@memphis.edu.

Italian Tutoring

All Italian tutoring with Roxanne Jensen is available via Upswing.

Students can view tutor availability and schedule appointments directly through Upswing. Please note that schedules may vary, as tutors have different availability throughout the week. For a seamless experience, we recommend checking Upswing for the most up-to-date tutor schedules and options.

Japanese Tutoring

All Japanese tutoring is available via Upswing.

Students can view tutor availability and schedule appointments directly through Upswing. The Department of World Language offers free tutoring services for Japanese language students. To make an appointment, you will have to access the Virtual Learning Center via Upswing. When you get to the portal, search for the subject (Japanese) and you will see the name for our tutor, Raven Lerma. 

Latin Tutoring

All Latin tutoring is available via Upswing.

Students can view tutor availability and schedule appointments directly through Upswing. The Department of World Language offers free tutoring services for Latin students. To make an appointment, you will have to access the Virtual Learning Center via Upswing. When you get to the portal, search for the subject (Latin) and you will see the name for our tutor, Molly Yates. 

Spanish Tutoring

All Spanish tutoring is available via Upswing.
