Fanny Rodriguez photoFanny Rodriguez, Grant Coordinator, manages post-award support for the departments of Earth Science, Physics and Material Science, Mathematical Sciences, History, World Languages and Literatures, and English. Her work includes supporting researchers by monitoring project accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies with expenditures, preparing monthly reviews and reconciliations, providing guidance to PIs to ensure appropriate spending of sponsored program accounts, tracking project accounts and sub-awards, assisting PI with carry-over requests and no-cost extensions and works closely with PI to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of project closeout in compliance with award terms and conditions, university policies and procedures, and federal uniform guidance.


Crystal CaulfieldCrystal Caulfield, Pre-Award Grant Coordinator, supports researchers in the Department of Psychology and the Institute for Intelligent Systems in managing critical parts of the grant application process. Her work includes identifying and monitoring calls for funding opportunities, developing research proposals for electronic submission, assisting research teams with budget development and justification narratives, and acting as a liaison between researchers and the office of sponsored programs to ensure timely and efficient pre-award management, compliance, and grant submission.

photo coming soonElizabeth Wilson, Pre-Award Coordinator, supports researchers in the departments of Anthropology, Political Science, and Sociology and the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy (SUAPP) which contains City and Regional Planning, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Public Administration, and the School of Social Work.   She assists in finding and securing funding for UofM research and educational projects. Much of the research and funding within these departments is collaborative with community agencies and non-profits.  She works with research teams during the pre-award phase of the sponsored project lifecycle to ensure the proposal is accurate, complete, and compliant with the sponsor requirements.

Roger KreuzRoger Kreuz, Associate Dean, serves as the Dean's liaison to the social science departments in the College of Arts and Sciences and interdisciplinary programs oriented toward the social sciences. He oversees the Governor's School and the International and Global Studies program. He also chairs the College's Graduate Curriculum Committee and serves as the College representative on the University Graduate Council.

Graduate Information

Ladrica Menson-FurrLadrica Menson-Furr, Assistant Dean, has worked for the Dean's Office as an Assistant Dean for two years. She serves as the Chair of the College of Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Curriculum Council and helps facilitate undergraduate curriculum changes through the curriculum process. She also serves on the University Undergraduate Council and is the Chair of the University's General Education Committee. Her home department is English; as such, she is the liaison to the Humanities Departments and interdisciplinary programs such as Women and Gender Studies and AAAS. Ladrica also assists the Dean in undergraduate grade appeals, enrollment analysis, and issues related to undergraduate instruction and advising.

Ron SerinoRon Serino, Director of Interdisciplinary Programs, leads the budgeting, marketing, advising, scheduling, curriculum development, and planning efforts for the CAS Interdisciplinary Programs, manages College scholarships and awards, and builds relationships with faculty and students.

Kira McNeil photo

Kira McNeil, Manager of Marketing and Communication, works with CAS departments and administration to develop marketing strategies for the CAS, coordinating social media campaigns, creating photo and video campaigns to promote the College and its programs, research, students, faculty and staff; increasing brand awareness; designing and developing both print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, viewbooks, social media posts, web content; writing copy for press releases; and more.
