Dr. Hui Hao

Biography
Hui Hao is an assistant professor in the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Memphis. She received her PhD in information systems from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Hui’s key research interests include control of algorithmic work, digital labor platforms, future of work and human-AI collaboration. In her work, she uses multiple methods, including qualitative (interviews), and quantitative (experiments). Her work has been published or forthcoming in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), and conferences such as the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) and the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). She enjoys teaching at undergrade and graduate levels in topics of Cyber Ethics, and Data Analytics.
